ATTORNEY PROFILE

Stephen M. Dean has been in private practice in the Redding area since 1976. His focus throughout his 35+ years of experience has been in real estate law. His wide knowledge of county and state laws means he can represent your rights thoroughly and effectively. From eviction services to real estate contracts, his experience has been in all aspects of the real estate industry.

Mr. Dean graduated from University of California Davis with undergraduate degrees in Economics and Political Science. He then graduated from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 1976.

His community service includes sitting as a Judge Pro Tem in Shasta County Superior Court for more than 20 years. He is currently the attorney for the Shasta County Youth Violence Prevention Council. He has given many seminars and talks on issues including Crime-Free Housing, landlord/tenant laws and mobile home park rules and regulations. Mr. Dean's experience in this community makes him the ideal choice for legal representation.

Michael E. M. Dean graduated from University of California, Davis with undergraduate degrees in Economics and French and a minor in Music. He then graduate from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2012. While in law school, Mr. Dean was an editor of the UC Davis Law Review (Vol. 45).

Mr. Dean’s focus in real estate law and estate planning law. Mr. Dean has experience both drafting and litigating real estate contracts for lease and/ or sale. Mr. Dean also has experience in drafting irrevocable trusts, VA Benefits Irrevocable Trusts, living trusts, wills, advanced health care directives, and durable powers of attorney, among others.
